Melbourne – Australia: Arabian horse racing has established a long-term partnership with the Moonee Valley Racing Club which will host the first leg of the Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup and the second round of the HH Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies IFAHR Cup on Friday.

Meydan Racecourse, Thursday, 12 January 2012 - The Group One Purebred Arabian version of the Maktoum Challenge Round I, over 1600m, was won by the Saifaldin Deeb-trained Sahib Du Clos, who had won the National Day Cup on the Abu Dhabi turf on his previous outing.

HH SHEIKHA FATIMA BINT MUBARAK LADIES IFAHR CUP IN OMAN ON THURSDAY
Twelve amateur lady jockeys will line up for Thursday’s HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies IFAHR Cup flat race at the Al Flaij Race Course in Muscat, Oman.
The race is part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival and is being held for the first time in Oman.
